He's Not Healthy, He's My Brother

It was this time last year that reports came out that there was no chance of Fidel Castro living through 2007. Yet here we are at the end of the year, and Castro is still with us. What does 2008 have in store for the Cuban leader?

The brother of Cuban leader Fidel Castro says Mr. Castro's health is improving. Interim Cuban President Raul Castro says his 81-year old brother is in full control of his mental faculties, and has been exercising regularly -- regaining weight and muscle mass.

President Fidel Castro temporarily handed over power to his brother Raul in July of 2006, after undergoing intestinal surgery.
It sounds like Castro's now coasting in the right direction, toward health and freedom from disease.
