Singer Jerry Lee Lewis was set to take the stage tonight at Charleston Music Hall. Tickets cost between $75 and $225. Word has come down, however, that Lewis will not perform this evening.
Jerry Lee Lewis has postponed his show scheduled for 8 p.m. today because of sudden illness. The new date for the performance, which is a benefit for the MUSC Children's Hospital Fund, is Jan. 26 at 8 p.m. Tickets for today's show will be honored for the Jan. 26 performance.As a small consolation for disappointed ticket holders, we offer this video of Lewis performing in 2004 with Kid Rock.
