Glad you asked. Gordie Howe, the legendary "Mr. Hockey," is 81, and actually was picked in this year's pool. But it looks like he's gonna make it through '07 and beyond:
"My health is pretty good. They put two stents in my heart. There's lots of history in my family of heart disease. But I'm pretty good. I've got new lenses for my eyes. But you take a tremendous beating playing the game, I don't care who you are. But you don't realize it because you're having too much fun."So to recap, his ticker could be in trouble someday, but do NOT worry about his eyes. Man's got new lenses!
